• Park Director Update (MT)
o Marty is on vacation next week
o BL asked for us to tell MT there is a cap paver at Walk of Fame that has come loose.
o School wants to park school buses at IRP between Rec Ctr and Barn during construction. MT is handling with school.
o All fields are being prepped for opening. Some fields still have snow.
• Recreation Director Update(LC)
o Spring/summer Brochure: 98% done registration day will be 4/11/13. 17 new programs, partnering with YMCA and School enrichment programs.
o Summer Camps- losing time because kids are in school longer because of snow days. Losing about 1 ½ weeks. Trying to come up with ideas to present to superintendent so we can begin program on time and have 8 weeks so we don’t lose monies. Suggestions: have it at IRP under pavilion, look into renting a tent. RAMS Athletics, LC will check with school.
• Operation Director Update (MS)
o Field permitting- very busy, we have 7 men’s leagues and 2 women’s leagues, all youth numbers are down.
o Rental Rates: committee members asking if we raised rental rates at IRP. MS stated that if we raise them anymore we will lose the rentals. We will probably rent more time at Maguire and IRP fields.
• LUC (RM)
o Craft Fair: going great, SS stated we have received 48 applications already.
o Meeting: Will be meeting with Hillview Commission soon to discuss projects.
• CIT Updates (RM):

o Relay for Life: We have been asked to handle the concession again for this year at relay. We need grills ask MT about Grills.
o Walk of Fame: going to circulate flyer again thru the HS to see if any interest. Deadline is April 12th in order to install for graduation.
Other Business
• Skate Park: Rita would like an update from MT on the sign for the Skate Park. She would like to implement procedures.
• Banning people from the Park: What do we have for a procedure from banning someone from the park if the are vandalizing or selling drugs? How do we feel about sending a registered letter to the parents of a child? Should the offender be kicked out of the park where incident happened or all facilities, which would include Turf field? Also, do we have the right to search backpacks or bags? Committee suggested checking with CIT. Committee would like police guidance on this matter.
• Bowlarama: an event going on this coming Saturday at Candlepin Bowling. They pulled a one day liquor license for event. Would like to know how one goes about this and learn about the event. Sheila will ask Karen Marlin.
